Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of the Fountain Valley Sunrooms & Patios website and any estimate or service you ask us for through it. By using the site, calling us or sending our contact form, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

When we do work at your house, the written contract we both sign controls that job. If anything here conflicts with your signed contract, the contract wins.

What we do

We're a sunroom contractor based in Fountain Valley, CA, and we design, build and remodel sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, solariums and patio covers for homes in Fountain Valley and the cities around it. You can see the full list of services on our home page and read about our company.

What's on this site is general information to help you plan. It isn't a quote, a design or professional advice for your particular house, because every job depends on what we find when we come out and look.

Estimates and pricing

Our on-site estimates are free and obligation-free. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, plus the size, materials and options you choose, so it's our best figure for the job as described, not a fixed price.

The price you pay is the one in your signed contract. If you ask for changes once work starts, or we open things up and find something nobody could see before, like hidden damage or a slab that needs work, we'll explain it and get your written okay on a change order before we do the extra work. An estimate stays open for the period written on it, and after that we may need to update it because material costs change.

Scheduling and cancellation

We'll give you a start date and a rough timeline when you sign. Dates can move because of weather, material deliveries, permits and inspections where they apply, or changes you ask for, and we'll tell you as soon as we know about a delay.

If you need to reschedule a visit or an estimate, call us at (657) 329-2023 as early as you can. Cancelling a signed job is handled under your contract and any cancellation rights the law gives you, and you may owe for custom materials we've already ordered or work we've already done.

Payment terms

Your contract sets out what's due and when, including any deposit, progress payments and the final payment. Payment is due on the dates the contract gives.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's caught up, and we'll talk with you first. Unpaid balances may also carry the late charges or collection costs your contract allows.

Warranties

Any warranty on our work is the one written into your contract, and manufacturer warranties on windows, panels, roofing and other products come from those makers under their own terms. We'll pass along the paperwork so you know what each one covers.

Apart from those written warranties, this website and its content are provided as they are. We don't promise the site will always be available, error-free or up to date, and nothing on it is a warranty about your project.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses from using this website, such as lost time or money from relying on general information here instead of an estimate for your house.

For work we do, our responsibility is set by your contract and by California law. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have that the law says can't be waived.

Working out a problem

If something isn't right, call us first, because most problems get fixed faster with a conversation and a visit than with letters. We'll look at it and tell you what we can do.

If we can't settle it between us, either side can take the matter to the courts in Orange County, California, including small claims court where the amount fits, unless your contract says otherwise.

Which law applies

These terms and any dispute about them or this website are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't affect a contract you've already signed with us.

Questions about these terms

If you have a question about anything here, call us at (657) 329-2023 or reach us through our contact page, and we'll walk you through it.
